    Position Overview


    Leveraging your passion for Learning and People, lead the design, development and delivery of learning experiences that align with the organization’s most pressing business challenges and talent skill gaps. Create custom solutions to evolve the learning brand, improve efficiencies and effectiveness, and challenge and support our employees to be their best.



    • Work with Talent Partners, Business Leaders, Compliance, and Employees to understand the needs of HomeServe and pinpoint root causes for performance gaps to determine both learning and non-learning solutions.
    • Partner cross-departmentally and with subject matter experts by listening and consulting to develop effective learning solutions targeted at the organization’s greatest needs.
    • Design and deliver a variety of leadership, professional development, and compliance-related training programs in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment.
    • Take big and complex ideas and turn them into innovative and culturally relevant learning solutions leveraging modern instructional design methodologies and technologies.
    • Employ group dynamics while considering individual personalities and organizational culture to facilitate in both large and small group settings.
    • Simultaneously manage several complex; multi-faceted projects and programs from beginning to end, including timelines, training approach, resources, development, testing (QA), rollout procedures, and communication.
    • Monitor and evaluate (across all evaluation levels) the effectiveness of learning solutions by creating and implementing measures to track outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Evaluate and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of learning operations including instructional design methodologies, processes, and tools.
    • Manage the corporate LMS (enrollments, reporting, QA, seat management, maintenance, etc.)
    • Enhance awareness and attractiveness of learning solutions through branding and marketing efforts
    • Manage vendor relationships
    • Other duties as assigned




    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
    • Masters in Instructional Design preferred
    • Minimum of three (3) years required in the following:
      • instructional design; online, virtual, and instructor-led content creation
      • large and small group facilitation
      • designing and delivering learning solutions in a variety of content areas (including leadership and professional development)
    • Knowledge of training theories and principles, including needs assessment, applied behavioral science, adult learning theory, organizational development, and/or established industry models of evaluation
    • Proficiency with LMS functionality and a variety of instructional and graphic design tools including Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, Prezi; HTML knowledge preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of and willingness to keep abreast of new instructional design principles, adult learning, and learning technologies.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
    • Exceptional communication (presentation and authoring) skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to people at all levels
    • Strong attention to details and analytical skills
    • Self-directed, highly motivated and ability to set priorities with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, teamwork environment
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to take on multiple initiatives with short timelines
    • Ability to take creative direction and go through iterative rounds of revisions to deliver best work
    • Ability to travel as needed
