    Responsibilities

    The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting all forecasting and reporting functions for our National Grid line of business.  The ideal candidate will work with the HSES team to update key metrics such as number of jobs, average job costs, overtime hours, parts and vehicle costs and other expense related items.  The ideal candidate should have the following abilities and skill sets:

    • Advanced Excel skills beyond Vlookups and Pivot Tables
    • Experience with financial modeling (creating new models and improving existing models)
    • Experience with forecasting and budgeting
    • Detail and goal-oriented individual 
    • Experience working with SQL databases preferred
    • Experience in a cross-functional role supporting operations and finance preferred
    • A mentality of continuously solving problems and improving upon existing processes

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related field
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant corporate financial planning and analysis experience
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work in a deadline oriented environment and turnaround requests quickly
    • Knowledge of GAAP principles is a plus
    • Experience with Oracle and/or Hyperion Planning software ideal
    • Must be well organized, focused, and detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure
