    Position Overview


    The IT Audit Manager will plan and undertake technology related audits covering IT infrastructure, applications, technical and information security, system development and program management while liaising with PwC on co sourced technology audits.




    • Audit business and IT controls including the design of controls in new program and system implementations
    • Performs general and application control reviews for simple to complex information systems
    • Review existing controls frameworks including integrated audits (IT and Operations)
    • Deliver data analytics to support all audits where feasibile
    • Perform information technology control reviews to include system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance
    • Direct and/or perform reviews of internal control procedures and security for systems under development and/or enhancements to current systems
    • Prepare audit finding reports and working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists to support the completed audit and conclusions
    • Prepare and present written and oral reports and other technical information in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner for distribution to mnagement
    • Maintain effective relationships with the businesses to follow up on audit findings to ensure that management has taken corrective action(s)
    • Maintain knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems
    • Conduct operational, compliance, financial and investigative audits, as assigned
    • Liaise with co source partner PwC to deliver audits and facilitate their assignments
    • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
    • Develop other audit colleagues IT control skills





    • Bachelors degree preferred
    • 5+ years experience in an audit related function, preferrably IT focused
    • Knowledge of current technological developments / trends in area of expertise
    • Ability to evaluate and review a range of midrange, PC, and distributed production and applications computer and telephony systems
    • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
    • Knowledge of auditing concepts and principles
    • Ability to perform control reviews on systems development, operations, programming, control, and security procedures and standards
    • Ability to review system backup, disaster recovery and maintenance procedures
    • Ability to communicate with, and understand the requirements of, professional staff in all areas of technology
    • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
    • Knowledge of computer systems development and programming
    • Knowledge of general accounting principles
    • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and standards governing all aspects of the utilization of computer systems (including GDPR)
    • Ability to persuade and influence others
    • 60%-70% travel required, inclusive of international travel
    • Preferred certifications:
      • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
      • ISO 27001 Lead Audit
      • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
      • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
      • CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
