    Responsibilities

    Position Overview:

    As part of the Contractor Management team, this individual will be responsible for the project management and the associated progress reporting for the launch of new products, services, and solutions which require the ability to develop and articulate a clear strategy, display strong process and analytical skills, and drive the execution of key initiatives.  The individual in this role will be a vital connection to the Contractor Management & Administration, Product Development, Account Management and IT teams to manage the execution of these initiatives. 

     

     

    Detailed Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with internal departments to determine project requirements, scope and timing, and ensure project delivery meets the stated requirements.

    • Responsible for creating project plans, high level use cases and requirement documentation.

    • Provide detailed project metrics to senior management.

    • Monitor project progress and status and redefine priorities as needed.

    • Identify and track all quality and delivery issues.

    • Hold periodic project review meetings to assess work progress and resolve issues.

    • Prepare weekly status updates on projects.

    • Monitor industry related trends for opportunities to improve new programs and operational processes.

    • Responsible for light administration duties such as organizing articles for a quarterly newsletter and minor reporting tasks.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in project management.
    • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project to plan and monitor project progress.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher.
    • BS Degree in Business or relevant field.
    • PMP certification or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years program management.
    • Strong Process skills.
    • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across functional departments.
    • Effective communications skills as this position interfaces with senior management and other departments across the business.
    • In depth knowledge of working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is required.
    • Strong attention to detail.
