    Responsibilities

    We are searching for innovative, passionate, results-driven sales people who will help us grow our successful InsureTech business by entering the US market. 

     

    The position, which will report into the Global Business Development Director, will spearhead the development of new relationships with home insurers throughout the country.  The role requires the ability to develop prospects and usher them through the sales process to close.  Great communication and presentation skills are a must … as is the ability to keep many balls in the air!  Each of our employees has a big impact on our company and our culture – we want to hire superstars to make our work great, our office fun and our partners and customers happy.

     

    Since the US is a new market for the InsureTech side of the HomeServe business, the right person should be comfortable making things happen independently … while using the global team effectively for support.

     

    • Determine and implement appropriate strategies to build initial US insurance partner programsIdentify and build strong rapport with key decision makers
    • Lead prospects through the entire partnership development lifecycle including concept exploration, opportunity demonstration, contract negotiation, and program implementation
    • Uncover and leverage customer and competitor insights
    • Identify and lead research on partnership prospects
    • Provide key data and industry insights to enhance the opportunity for prospects
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the right solution is being presented to each prospect
    • Develop and deliver comprehensive presentations to prospects, internal partners and executive team members
    • Assure proposal documentation is complete and delivered to stakeholders
    • Travel to prospect locations to interface and develop long-term business relationships with key staff at various levels
    • Participate in target industry associations, meetings and other networking opportunities
    • Experience in home insurance market is a big plus

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
    • Expereince in US home insurance industry
    • Demonstrated success leading B2B or B2B2C technology sales cycles through their strategic sequence, including account identification, product alignment, business case development, pitch and close
    • Advanced project management and leadership skills
    • Adept at influencing stakeholders and partners by creating a compelling call to action
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to engage audiences in our product and our story
    • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growth-oriented organization
    • Ability to travel 50 – 70 %
    • Experience in InsureTech is preferred
