    Responsibilities

    The Customer Care Specialist is a key role within our business. This position serves as the front line to our contractors and customers and is responsible for providing world class customer service on all inbound warranty claims calls. Tasks include assessing claims, troubleshooting, advising customers whether or not they are covered by our warranty, communicating ongoing actions, and deploying contractors in a manner that enhances the reputation of HomeServe. 

     

    • Respond to inbound calls to assist customers who have specific inquiries
    • Build customers’ interest in the services and products offered by the company
    • Provide personalized customer service of the highest level
    • Make outbound calls to dispatch contractors for customer repairs
    • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with contractors
    • Track customer work orders from the time of dispatch through closure to ensure timely completion
    • Process and follow through on customer reimbursement requests
    • Monitor service levels and schedule adherence
    • Other duties as assigned
    • May be called upon to support evening and weekend schedule rotation

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to adapt to change: meet the changing demands of the work environment, delays, or other unexpected demands
    • Ability to work well as part of a team
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Customer service principles and practices experience
    • Competency in MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Outlook
    • Data entry and typing skills

     

    Desired Skills

    • Salesforce experience a plus
    • Plumbing knowledge a plus
    • Spanish language fluency a plus
    • Prior experience in a call center or customer service environment
