    Position Overview


    The Vice President (VP), Corporate Planning will serve as a key member of the financial leadership team and as a key financial interface with senior operational management and the Executive Leadership Team. The VP will be responsible for delivering value-added business analysis, strategic guidance and accurate predictive forecasts and insights to the organization’s decision makers, as well as defining and reporting meaningful financial and operational metrics


    The position will be responsible for overseeing teams comprising: financial (corporate) planning, G&A (Overheads & Capital Expenditures) and Financial Systems Support (FSS) teams. The role requires a strong understanding of all key business drivers and sophisticated financial models that enable the team to deliver insightful, value-added analysis across the company. A critical component is the development and management of the annual operating plan and a driver-based budget process and the five-year financial model, while also ensuring operating initiatives align with the achievement of both short-term and long-term goals.


    This position is also responsible for the oversight and development of financial systems and advance data analytics to support decision-making and in identifying performance trends. This includes ensuring proper investment in technologies and resources. In addition, the role will oversee the further development of data warehouse initiatives to support more effective and efficient financial and operational reporting/analytics. This leader will help establish and execute a vision for stronger business intelligence employing techniques and tools for the acquisition and transformation of raw data into meaningful and useful information for business analysis purposes.



    • Supervise and manage the performance of three direct reports and team of 15+ professionals.
    • Quickly identifies new trends in the business and investigates drivers and effectively communicates findings.
    • Prepare a monthly reporting package that includes full financial statements, forecasts, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational Dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences.
    • Drive an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing driver-based financial budgets and operating plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectives.
    • Develop and monitor the company’s annual budget and monthly forecasts, which shall include using Hyperion budget tools, setting timelines and acting as project manager for the company, ensuring all budgets are accurate, comprehensive and completed on time.
    • Develop and implement a rolling 24 month forecast.
    • Support half-year and full year external reporting by plc.
    • Manage and oversee the organization’s five-year financial model and targets.
    • Oversee and provide guidance relating to overhead expenses and efficiency targets.
    • Oversee and manage financial plan for the organizations capital expenditures, including monitoring of returns on investment.
    • Actively own key finance and business process including but not limited Hyperion planning reporting tool and the Operational Reporting Database (ORD), and implementing and further enhancing these systems.
    • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.



    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or economics required with 15+ years experience
    • Master’s in Business Administration preferred
    • Substantial track record of demonstrated success in running planning functions
    • Deep experience in cross functional planning activities
    • Enhanced program management skills
    • Experience in implementing state-of-art forecast, budget and reporting tools
    • Solid and effective communication, writing and presentation skills
    • Strong experience in financial system development
    • Experience in developing cross-organizational operating plans
    • Strong analytical skills / can interpret details and data building valued insights
    • Experience in transforming raw data into meaningful and useful insights and reports
