    Responsibilities

     

    • Responsible for the architecture, development, testing and deployment of enterprise e-commerce web presence
    • Provide technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including hands-on software engineering using Java, PHP, Javascript, HTML, C++, C, C#, Web Services, AJAX, relational databases and/or related technologies
    • Build high performance, stable scalable systems to achieve business objectives through technical excellence and collaboration with other teams
    • Define technical direction and use metrics to improve the quality of services for our users. Identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve them. 
    • Implement and maintain standard development processes including coding standards, peer reviews, design sessions, etc. Maintains diligent focus on modern data and infrastructure security challenges and opportunities.
    • Serves as a key technology partner to Digital Marketing team, primary interface between Web Development team (IT) & Designers and Marketing specialist (Digital marketing team)
    • Lead, manage and mentor a team of front-end developers, testing and quality assurance resources (includes 3rd-party resources) working in a Lean-Agile model
    • Senior level technology manager with track record of performance for developing & managing enterprise level web properties delivering e-commerce and self-service portals (previous experience as a senior technical lead, senior architect or application manager of web applications)
    • Participate in the architecture, documentation, development, debugging, and deployment efforts while addressing cross browser and cross platform concepts and concerns 
    • Ensure the optimize performance of front-end applications, managing JS, JQuery, HTML/HTML5, and CSS file structures within application to optimize page-load performance and code maintainability
    • Works strategically with the business (Digital marketing team) to evolve the technology enablement to create competitive advantage and improve client satisfaction in the marketplace
    • Ensure to develop code that upholds web standards, accessibility, and usability while also being fast and efficient
    • Collaborate closely with backend developers and creative designers to create new site features as needed and to troubleshoot and solve problems
    • Work with Content Manager to design and develop for maximum SEO implementation

     

    Qualifications

     

    • 7 -10 years of experience in front-end web development
    • 5+ years managing teams developing web-based applications 
    • Extensive experience in developing and troubleshooting on multi-platform cross-browser compatibility IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on Mac, PC, tablets and mobile devices
    • Require hands-on technical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully organize and manage multiple priorities 
    • Excellent communication skills, and can articulate complex ideas to non-technical staff 
    • Able to work in a team environment and collaborates well with others 
    • Is a creative and proactive problem-solver 
    • Understanding of Linux and Apache
    • Demonstrated accountability, sound decision making, analytical thoroughness, clear and concise communications, and the ability to lead and mentor team members
    • Knowledge of web image optimization and compression
    • Ability to communicate in technical and non-technical terms with cross-functional partners
    • Must be able to manage relationships with cross-functional partners
    • Strong attention to detail to keep sites as error-free as possible
    • Good grasp of hosting environments and VMs, including use of the command line in Linux & Windows, bash shell, PowerShell, SSH and templates using PHP, JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS and XML 
    • Knowledge with best in class web and mobile development practices
    • Must have strong experience in enterprise web site development delivering Responsive Websites including website maintenance
    • Experience in a Lead or Mentor role
    • Basic knowledge of Website development, marketing automation, file systems and collaboration tools, always with an awareness of enterprise security 
    • Competence at writing and communication using email, and creating written documents, presentations
    • Familiarity with SiteCore, Codeigniter, or other Web Content Management systems a plus
