    Responsibilities

    As a Digital Marketing intern, you will be an integral part of the Marketing team. You will work closely with your manager and other team members over the 10 week program to gain useful knowledge and skills needed in today’s workforce. You will work on individual assignments and group projects that will be presented to Senior Leadership and other HomeServe teams. We offer professional development classes, key speakers and community outreach opportunities. You will have a program lead to guide you through your experience at HomeServe. Your work can make an immediate impact in our rapidly growing organization.

    The Digital Marketing intern will:

    • Work with various members of the Digital Marketing team to help with acquisition, content, email, mail-to-web, QA and other digital initiatives.
    • Drive a quality audience to visit and engage with HomeServe USA’s digital platforms.
    • Work to establish a customer review repository.
    • Conduct competitor analysis for upcoming digital testing.
    • Provide analysis around the profitability of different marketing channels and campaigns.
    • Utilize financial analysis to help guide the business regarding marketing decisions and investments utilizing historical data and Excel modeling.
    • Present ideas and interpretation of data to the team to help guide business decisions.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts within the business to understand how their respective areas affect profitability.
    • Transform and combine data across several sources into meaningful information and insights.
    • Assist in video production work and initiatives.  
    • Assist in content marketing projects such as:
      • blog content research
      • content calendar edits
      • Facebook social posts

    Qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in BA/BS (4 year) program.
    • Current juniors and seniors preferred. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Must be available to start in June and able to work standard business hours for the duration of the summer internship.
    • Self-directed, highly motivated and ability to set priorities with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, teamwork environment.
    • This person must be a self-starter, eager to learn, willing to ask questions, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must have relevant experience in a digital content and marketing environment.
    • Experience within insurance and/or subscription marketing a strong plus.
    • CMS and JIRA experience a plus.
