As a Fulfillment Operations intern, you will be an integral part of the HVAC and Strategy team. You will work closely with your manager and other team members over the 10 week program to gain useful knowledge and skills needed in today’s workforce. You will work on individual assignments and group projects that will be presented to Senior Leadership and other HomeServe teams. We offer professional development classes, key speakers and community outreach opportunities. You will have a program lead to guide you through your experience at HomeServe. The Fulfillment intern will:

  • Responsible for generating and maintaining fulfillment communications for all partners.
  • Work across multiple parts of the business (including but not limited to: IT, customers service, marketing, customer administration, finance, legal, production) to ensure that quality communications are being delivered to all customers.
  • Assess weekly and monthly data files for multiple communication streams and ensure that all requirements are in place to execute and mail accurate letters
  • Review all daily and weekly proofs from print vendors to ensure accuracy on customer materials.
  • Get new retention tests into the regular mailing process – includes set up of testing parameters, data set up and/or creative set up, validation and tracking
  • Update and maintain the retention communication stream to be in compliance with legal, state, contractor and partner requirements.
  • Responsible for letter sign-off process as well as identifying, tracking and resolving discrepancies.
  • Work with IT to identify systemic problems and get them resolved.
  • Assist in compiling retention details and updates to be presented and distributed to the business on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain the retention binders that are used across the business.
  • Work with Manager to review and document internal fulfillment processes.
  • Create Fulfillment Standard Operating Procedures library.
  • Assist manager with creating an IT ticket dashboard and analyze tickets in queue.
  • Create weekly exception reporting to share with team and identify any trends.


  • Must be currently enrolled in BA/BS (4 year) program.
  • Current juniors and seniors preferred. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must be available to start in June and able to work standard business hours for the duration of the summer internship.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated and ability to set priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, teamwork environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask and a basic understanding of marketing/client relations, either through course work or previous internship experience.
  • Must be inquisitive, investigative, organized and detail oriented.
  • Must seek a fast paced environment.
