This position will be responsible for teaching HVAC courses to all Homeserve Technicians and employees. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, an understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams and HVAC system design.

  • Responsible for providing HVAC technical training to new and current employees
  • Responsible for effectively using teaching techniques, instructional materials and appropriate media to conduct and support classroom training, course work and laboratory assignments
  • Ensure that appropriate safety practices are used at all times and that technicians are knowledgeable of the companies safety policies
  • Maintain control of inventories of equipment and supplies available in the training rooms
  • Support and follow HomeServe policies and procedures
  • Creating new and updating training material
  • Responsible for recruiting/interviewing seasonal employees


  • Excellent communication skills - listening, speaking, and written
  • Proficient with use of smart phones, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PPT and Excel
  • Minimum of 5 years HVAC field service experience
  • Industry certifications preferred: NATE, ARI/GAMA ICE, RSES CM, etc.
  • Ability to travel overnight to all HomeServe offices as needed
