Position Overview

 

 

The B2B Marketing Database Manager reports to the Director, B2B Marketing and is a highly-responsive and proactive data specialist who will provide all levels of support to the Business Development team. This position is responsible for coordinating cross-functional efforts in support of our field sales team. You will quarterback many tasks to help us manage data and incoming lists, ensuring our lead gen efforts are supported by the most accurate data. You will also take ownership of report design and data analysis in support of b2b marketing and sales activities. Finally, you will manage various Salesforce admin functions. Responsibilities

 

  • Ability to translate ideas and vision and raw data into meaningful reports, easily understood by various users, using Excel, SQL, Access Salesforce and other business intelligence tools
  • Research and recommend technologies needed to support timely and efficient management of data
  • Work with key stakeholders to design and build Business Intelligence reports that provide actionable data and insights
  • Take ownership in the design and delivery of daily, weekly and monthly metrics reports that provides meaningful analysis to the Sales and Marketing Leaders
  • Coordinate data management/inbound lists from multiple sources, including data cleansing, to maintain a clean database in Salesforce
  • Provide administrative support for Salesforce

 

Qualifications/Skills

 

  • Broad knowledge of database marketing technology and tools.
  • 5 years Salesforce Admin experience required
  • 3 years practical experience with SQL Server or Microsoft Access or related data tool
  • Demonstrated competency in quantitative/analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills, including use of functions, macros, graphs and report formatting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
