In this critical role, you will work closely with our Director, Total Rewards performing a wide variety of compensation activities, including: reporting & analysis, compensation analysis and administrative duties within the HR Department. Success in this position requires previous experience in administration of compensation programs and the ability to organize and prioritize numerous duties. Comfort, tact and clarity in communicating with all levels of employees are also essential to the success of this role.  The role requires an awareness of and adherence to confidentiality and accountability. 

Responsibilities

  • Day to day administration of the company compensation programs
  • Identify data discrepancies relating to benefits and compensation, research root cause and recommend action plan
  • Deliver reporting of metrics and respond to ad-hoc data requests
  • Conduct data analysis on compensation in preparation for labor negotiations, changes and regulation requirements
  • Perform compensation analyses and maintain database on salary comparisons
  • Research and update salary surveys
  • Create and distribute Incentive Compensation Plans
  • Subject Matter Expert and User Acceptance Testing for Compensation Plan Distribution Tools
  • Evaluate market and economic trends to recommend adjustments to compensation
  • Work with internal HR team to address compensation-related issues
  • Participate in and organize data from market compensation surveys to assist with ongoing competitive analyses and pay program assessments
  • Prepare summary exhibits to illustrate outcomes from merit planning, bonus planning, and equity grants
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related compensation experience
  • CCP certification preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with salary/compensation survey data and job evaluation systems
  • Experience in administering compensation programs for exempt and non-exempt personnel
  • Ability to develop and implement action plans to address unique and unusual issues within the compensation discipline
  • Knowledge of current State and Federal compensation rules and regulations
  • Exceptional computer skills, including HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Persistence, resourcefulness, drive and ability to work proactively
  • Ability to multitask and respond quickly and professionally to numerous requests
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills
  • Maintain utmost confidentiality throughout all dealings
