Position Overview

 

In this critical role, you will work closely with our Director of Total Rewards performing a wide variety of C&B activities, including: managing the day to day administration of all benefit programs, reporting & analysis, compensation analysis and administrative duties for the Total Rewards team. Success in this position requires previous experience in Benefits Administration/Analysis, administration of compensation programs and the ability to organize and prioritize numerous duties. Comfort, tact and clarity in communicating with all levels of employees are also essential to the success of this role.  The role requires an awareness of and adherence to confidentiality and accountability. 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage the day to day administration of all  company  benefits and benefits programs
  • Facilitate benefits orientation for new hires and coordinate the new hire communication for  other locations
  • Liaison between benefit providers and employees to resolve issues and/or answer questions
  • Resolve conflicts with benefit providers for the purpose of verifying eligibility, conveying information and processing claims
  • Manage the administration of annual enrollment process
  • Coordinate and manage annual audits for 401k plans
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and laws pertaining to benefit plans, i.e., COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ACA, etc.
  • Develop communications to inform and educate employees about the Company’s benefit plans and programs
  • Deliver routine daily, weekly and monthly reporting and respond to ad-hoc data requests
  • Provide consultation to  HRIS Administrator on benefit projects involving  research and resolution of HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws, and recommend alternate methods to meet continuous improvement and reporting goals
  • Conduct data analysis on benefits, compensation, and/or as directed
  • Manage wellness program – roll out, quarterly communications and administration
  • Recommend and participate in compensation surveys in order to gather data to provide for solid and reliable salary analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications/Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience
  • Experience utilizing HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of current benefit regulations at State and Federal levels (including COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ACA)
  • Experience in full employee day to day benefits administration (including health, dental, vision, COBRA, 401K etc.)
  • Experience or willingness to learn administering compensation programs for exempt and non-exempt personnel
  • Exceptional computer skills, including HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Maintain utmost confidentiality throughout all dealings

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging add “of” responsibilities
