Position Overview

 

We have an aggressive, strategic business development plan and are looking for an important player to support our efforts by managing our marketing activities to acquire professional services businesses throughout the US.  This position is responsible for lead generation and identification of opportunities, research on targets, management and reporting on the deal pipeline and planning and executing marketing activities (including trade shows).

 

The role will be based in Norwalk, CT. Some travel (up to 15%) is required. 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of prospect marketing and lead generation efforts to identify potential M&A targets.
  • Design and maintain website targeting prospects.
  • Plan and execute tradeshow and conference logistics.
  • Maintain all trade association memberships, subscriptions, and sponsorships.
  • Research target prospects and provide assistance in positioning sales pitch. Prepare presentations as needed.
  • Track opportunities through administration of Salesforce.
  • Responsible for development and timely distribution of reports from Salesforce.

 

 

 

Qualifications/Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Highly organized and efficient.
  • Collaborative style, with the ability to establish working relationships across functional groups.
  • Strong sense of ownership; outstanding analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Advanced knowledge of power point and excel. Knowledge of salesforce.com a plus.
  • Proven ability to successfully multi-task in fast paced environments; effective at managing shifting priorities.
