Position Overview


The B2B Marketing/Event Specialist reports to the Director, B2B Marketing and is a proactive event planner and marketing specialist who will handle every aspect of event and organization support, including executing campaigns to support events and organizations. If you are self-motivated, eager to take on multiple, diverse challenges, and looking for an opportunity where you can grow – HomeServe is for you!

This position will work in a fast paced and demanding environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. We are looking for a creative talent who can take charge of our events and manage organization benefits working with email, direct mail, website and social media.   • Work in CRM, content management and marketing automation tools to design and execute email campaigns, landing pages and direct mail campaigns in support of events and organizations
  • Analyze results of marketing campaigns, trade shows and public relations efforts and help make decisions of go-forward strategy
  • Research potential venues and provide proposal reports to team for final selection.
  • Review space requirements and manage event site selection process and contract negotiations with hotels for rooms, meeting facilities, food and beverage selections, A/V equipment, etc.
  • Liaise with venue to ensure accurate food and beverage, meeting room setup.
  • Manage the internal approval of outside speakers and secure bookings
  • Select and secure promotional items




  • Ability to manage multiple projects against tight deadlines with eye for excellence and minimal supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience event planning
  • 2 years’ experience planning and executing b2b email campaigns
  • Proven direct mail production experience
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology, iContact a strong plus
  • Basic understanding of HTML, or CSS, or Java
  • Word Press experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access), especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with a specific focus on marketing email communications, print and website executions
  • Strong analytical skills – translate data into action
  • Ability to travel 10-20%
